The story of the Samba OG

Born in 1950 to help footballers train on frozen pitches, the Samba is one of the oldest sneakers in continuous production. Its T-toe suede overlay and gum sole made it an indoor-soccer icon, then a terrace-culture uniform in Britain. In the 2020s it became fashion's favorite flat shoe, boosted by Wales Bonner's collaborations and endless street-style coverage until it reached genuine ubiquity. Seven decades in, the Samba still looks exactly right.
