The story of the Yeezy 500

The Yeezy 500 skipped Boost entirely for adiPRENE, the 90s adidas cushioning, under a low-slung suede-and-mesh body derived from the Feet You Wear era. Desert Rat prototypes teased it; the Blush launch pair remains its purest look. Muted, dusty and deliberately retro, the 500 is the Yeezy for people who found the 350 too obvious.
