The story of the Air Jordan 13 Retro
The Air Jordan 13 of 1997 was built around Jordan's nickname "Black Cat": its outsole mimics a panther's paw and the holographic eye on the heel glows like a cat's in the dark. Tinker Hatfield's design was one of the most comfortable Jordans to date thanks to a plush Zoom Air setup. Jordan wore the 13 through most of his final championship season before switching to the 14 in the Finals. Denzel Washington's He Got Game made the white-and-red pair iconic on film. Bred, Flint and He Got Game remain its signature colorways.
