The story of the Mac Attack

John McEnroe's 1984 Nike tennis shoe vanished from production so completely that vintage pairs became five-figure grails, worn by Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott in original 40-year-old condition. Nike finally reissued the grey mesh classic in 2023, ending one of the longest droughts in retro history. Its low profile and checkerboard-era styling slot perfectly into the vintage-court revival.
