The story of the Instapump Fury
The 1994 Instapump Fury deleted laces entirely: an inflatable Pump chamber locks the foot into what looks like a running shoe from a parallel future. Too weird for mass America, it became a Tokyo street-fashion icon, a Chanel collaboration subject, and Jackie Chan's signature shoe. Thirty years on it still looks like tomorrow.
