The story of the 990v3

The 990 line has been New Balance's made-in-USA flagship since 1982, when it was the first $100 running shoe. The v3 of 2012 refined the formula with ENCAP cushioning and the definitive grey suede-mesh mix. Beloved by dads, designers and drug dealers alike, as the old New Balance joke goes, the 990v3 earned new legend through JJJJound's minimalist editions. It's American shoemaking as heritage object.
