The story of the Authentic

The very first Vans shoe, sold from the Anaheim shop in 1966 as Style #44. Its simple canvas deck construction and sticky waffle sole built the brand and half of skateboarding with it. Sixty years on, the Authentic is still the purest expression of California skate style, cheap, honest and perfect.
